SUMMARY:All Religions Prayer - 125th Session
DESCRIPTION:“Many Paths • One Truth • One Human Family”\nThe Gandhi Peace Foundation\, Madras (Regd.) warmly invites people of all faiths and goodwill to participate in the 125th Session of the All Religions Prayer for Peace\, a unique monthly interfaith gathering dedicated to promoting peace\, harmony\, mutual respect\, and human unity. \nFor over six decades\, the Gandhi Peace Foundation has been working to build a culture of peace inspired by the timeless ideals of Mahatma Gandhi. One of its most enduring initiatives is the All Religions Prayer for Peace\, where representatives from different religious traditions come together to offer prayers from their own sacred scriptures while affirming the common values that unite humanity. \nInspired by Gandhiji’s conviction that “I see no religion higher than Truth\,” this gathering reminds us that while our religions\, rituals\, and languages may differ\, our aspirations for peace\, compassion\, justice\, and universal brotherhood are the same. \nRather than discussing differences\, the programme celebrates our shared spiritual heritage and creates an atmosphere of friendship\, understanding\, and mutual respect among people from diverse faiths. \n\nAbout the Programme\nThe one-hour interfaith prayer session brings together respected representatives from seven major religious traditions: \n\nHinduism\nIslam\nChristianity\nSikhism\nJainism\nBuddhism\nZoroastrianism\n\nEach representative offers prayers from their own faith tradition\, allowing participants to appreciate the richness and beauty of different spiritual paths while recognising the universal values they share. \nThe programme also includes: \n\nUniversal Prayer for Peace\nOne Minute Silent Prayer for World Peace\nExchange of Traditional Greetings of Peace from Different Religions\n\nThe gathering concludes with an affirmation of human unity and Gandhian values of Truth\, Non-violence\, Love and Compassion. \n\nProgramme Schedule\n\n\n\n\n\nTime\nProgramme\n\n\n\n\n10:30 a.m.\nWelcome Prayer Song – Dr. Kalakkad R.
